Who We Are
SNAPP is operated by Snapp Stats, Inc. (“SNAPP,” “we,” “us,” “our”). We provide AI-powered sports intelligence through our website, mobile applications, and SMS service.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Account information (name, email address) when you create an account
- Phone number when you use our SMS service
- Messages and queries you send through our platform or SMS service
- Photos, screenshots, and files (such as PDFs and spreadsheets) you choose to attach to a conversation
- Information from accounts you choose to connect, such as your fantasy league platforms, including the league, roster, and account identifiers needed to read them
- Purchase information (plan, price, and store transaction identifiers) when you subscribe through our website, the App Store, or Google Play. We do not receive your full card number.
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps) and crash and diagnostic reports
- Device information (browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and push notification tokens when you allow notifications)
We collect the following categories of your personal information and may sell it to third parties: identifiers, commercial information, internet or other electronic network activity information, geolocation data, and inferences drawn from these categories.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Respond to your questions and deliver AI-generated sports analysis
- Send you push notifications you have allowed, such as when an answer is ready
- Send you SMS messages in response to your requests
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the user experience
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
SMS & Mobile Information
When you use our SMS service, we collect your phone number and the content of messages you send and receive. This information is used solely to operate the SNAPP SMS service.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes. Consent data is used solely to deliver the SNAPP SMS service.
For full details on our SMS service, including how to opt out, see our SMS Terms & Privacy.
Data Sharing
In addition to the categories described above, we may share information with:
- Service providers who assist in operating our platform: hosting; AI model providers, which process your messages and attachments to generate responses; sign-in; analytics and crash reporting; push notification delivery; deep linking; and payment processing, including the App Store and Google Play. App attribution is described under Advertising measurement below
- Law enforcement or government agencies when required by law
- Third parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Advertising measurement: our iOS and Android apps use Kochava, a mobile measurement partner, to learn which of our ad campaigns lead to app installs and subscriptions. When you install and use our apps, Kochava receives your device’s advertising identifier (where your device allows it), your IP address, basic device information, and events such as the install and a subscription purchase (plan and price). Kochava shares this with the ad networks we use to advertise, such as Google, Meta, and TikTok, so they can measure our campaigns; for Apple Ads, Apple tells Kochava which ad led to an install. This does not include your phone number, SMS messages or opt-in data, or the content of your chats; the SMS commitments above cover that information, and it is never part of advertising measurement. You can limit this at any time: on iPhone or iPad, tap “Ask App Not to Track” when asked, or turn off tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android, delete or reset your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some devices, Settings → Google → Ads).
We may use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics and service improvement. This data cannot be used to identify you.
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your data. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
To delete your account and its data, use Account → Delete account in the app, visit app.trysnapp.ai/delete-account, or email privacy@snappstats.com.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP
- Turn off push notifications at any time in your device settings
- Limit advertising measurement at any time through your device’s tracking or advertising ID settings, as described under Data Sharing
Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, analyze usage, and improve our services. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
