Why did the offense stall in the second half last week?
Mostly early downs. After halftime they kept running into a loaded box, which left them in third-and-long over and over, and that is where the pass rush wins. The per-snap grades say the line held up fine on early downs; the play-calling put them behind the sticks.
Is that a trend or one bad half?
Check the last few weeks before you panic. If the early-down success rate has been sliding for a month, it is a trend; if it was one half against a top front, it is mostly noise. Snapp separates the two so you know which story to actually believe.
